Chair: Paul Greenberg - President, The 56 Group, LLC
In addition to being the author of the best-selling CRM at the
Speed of Light: Essential Customer Strategies for the 21st Century,
Paul Greenberg is President of The 56 Group, LLC, an enterprise
applications consulting services firm, focused on CRM strategic
services including go-to-market strategies for vendors and integrators,
CRM strategic planning and vendor selection. The 56 Group also provides
writing, speaking and educational services.
His book, published in January 2001 by McGraw-Hill is now in its third
edition. CRM at the Speed of Light is now in 8 languages and been a
runaway best seller. It is used as a text in more than 60 universities
across multiple continents. It was called "the number 1 CRM book" by
SearchCRM.com in July 2002. The Asian edition of CIO Magazine named it
one of the 12 most important books an Asian CEO will ever read. It has
been called "the bible of the industry".
Paul writes regularly for publications like CRM Magazine and
SearchCRM.com and CRMGuru. He is a contributor to multiple other
national business publications. He has spoken as a keynote speaker and
otherwise at conferences and seminars in the United States, across
Europe, Asia and Australia.
He is considered one of CRM's leading authorities on strategy and on
the state of the market, and has been quoted in multiple national
magazines and newspapers as a subject matter expert including the New
York Times.
Paul is the co-chairman of the newly created CRM Research Center at
Rutgers University and has been named the national Vice President for
Strategic Alliances for the CRM Association.
Paul is a also member of the Board of Advisors of Baylor University's
MBA CRM major, a unique national program. He also has been selected as
a member of the Destination CRM Board of Experts, SearchCRM Expert
Advisory Panel and the CRMGuru Expert Guru Panel among many others.
Prior to his current position as President of the 56 Group, LLC, Paul
was the Executive Vice President of Live Wire, Inc. a
Massachusetts-based enterprise applications staff augmentation company.
Before that, Paul was vice president of marketing for Atlantic Duncans
International (now Optimos) where he was responsible for developing and
securing strategic relationships with critical vendors and partners. In
addition, Paul was the director of strategic relations for Nexgen
Solutions, Inc., where he was directly responsible for generating
business development working with Fortune 500 clientele.
Paul has years of experience with both CRM and Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP). He has built SAP and People Soft practices and, has
extremely deep ties into the CRM and enterprise applications
communities.
Paul received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with majors in
editorial journalism, sociology, and a minor in English Literature from
Northwestern University, Medill School of Journalism. He currently
lives in Northern Virginia with his beloved wife Yvonne and their two
cats.
Thomas Vander Wal - Senior Consultant, InfoCloud Solutions
Thomas Vander Wal is a popular speaker and consultant on tagging/folksonomy, social web, and web applications around well structured information. He is often recognized as the person who coined the term folksonomy in 2004, as well as some of his other terms: Personal InfoCloud, Local InfoCloud, Come to Me Web, digital model of attraction etc. Thomas is principal, and senior consultant at InfoCloud Solutions, a social web consulting firm. Thomas has been working professionally on the web since 1995 (with professional IT background beginning in 1988) and has breadth and depth across many roles and disciplines around web design, social web development & research and general web development. He has a Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University, was a Fellow for a U.S. Senator, has worked in as well as consulted to many trade associations, and been a policy/political analyst in his professional career.

Bob Greenberg - President, G&H International Services
Bob Greenberg is a founding partner and President of G&H International Services, Inc., a Washington, D.C. based consulting firm. The mission of GHIS is to develop strategies and implement programs to help build stronger communities, with a current focus on public safety and homeland security. The hallmark of GHIS is to take a “practitioner driven” approach; working closely with the communities they serve to identify needs and develop programs meeting those needs. GHIS implements these programs by working with federal, state and local government agencies, advanced technology companies, educational institutions and not-for-profit organizations.
Bob has been working in the field of advanced technology for over 15 years with a particular focus on applying technologies to strengthen communities. As a result GHIS is leading the initiative to build a technology clearinghouse for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and to build a Communities of Practice capability to enable the emergency response community to share lessons learned and best practices on issues of interest and concern to them. He is currently working on a number of projects to advance public safety through the use of other advanced social media and Web 2.0 tools . In addition, GHIS is working on nineteen programs with DHS addressing issues vital to the homeland security mission including critical infrastructure protection, testing and evaluation, cybersecurity, communications interoperability, knowledge management, domestic preparedness training, and incident management. He also serves as an advisor to numerous public safety organizations and has been given several awards for his service to that community.
Aside from his interest in public safety Bob has long been active in supporting various organizations dedicated to women’s and girls sports. Bob is a founding member of the Women’s Soccer Initiative Inc (WSII) which developed a strategy and business model to relaunch a women’s professional soccer league in the U.S. which will kick off in the spring of 2009. Mr. Greenberg also supports the Women’s Sports Foundation, the U.S. Soccer Foundation among other organizations.
Bob is married to Freyda – a retired systems architect who has gone on to become an Emergency Medical Technician, paint, run marathons, and climb mountains including Mt.
