Silona Bonewald - Consultant
Silona is currently focused on creating the League of Technical Voters (LoTV). The most well known project LoTV is soliciting funding for is the illuminatedbudget.org with Senator Bill Bradley and Jimmy Wales. Before this she started her own company, ElecTech that created specialized software for political campaigns, and ran a web consulting business where she was one of the first people to create websites for hire, and to successfully optimize her clients’ websites for usability and top search engine ranking. She has also worked in the gaming industry, creating high visibility web presences, content management systems, and large database back-end integrations. Silona volunteers for the ACLU and EFF on technology-based civil liberties issues, and has lobbied on various issues. The combination of her involvement in political activism, educational activism, psychometrics for gaming communities, lobbyist work, netizen activities and web design make her uniquely suited to envision the framework that will make the LoTV system all possible.

Sarah Schacht searches for simple solutions to complex social problems.
Eagerly involved in politics from an early age, she's been a

campaigns. In 2003, she worked on Howard Dean's presidential campaign
in New Hampshire, Dean's national headquarters, Iowa, and Washington
State. She specialized in youth outreach, online organizing, and field
work. In 2004 she was one of the youngest delegates to the Democratic
National Convention, and in 2005 she interned for Congressman Jay
Inslee's office, where she researched communications systems within
Congress. Returning home to Washington State, she founded Knowledge As
Power, a 501c3 nonpartisan organization which helps Washingtonians
track legislation on any issue and communicate effectively with their
legislators. Sarah is a 2008 Echoing Green Semi-Finalist, a Sunlight
