Alex Hunsucker is the Business Development Manager at Eventful.com. Alex has worked at Eventful since 2006 building strategic business relationships and leading a technical team working towards global event comprehensiveness. In early 2007, he helped launch Eventful Politics, a unique social media platform enabling voters to discover, share, and create grassroots political events. Previously, he worked on several state and local political races in Virginia. Alex holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, and attended the Graduate Program in International Studies at Old Dominion University.
Josh Levy - Personal Democracy Forum
Joshua Levy is a writer, editor, and filmmaker whose work explores the intersections of technology, politics, and activism. His work includes A Better World in Second Life?, a machinima documentary about political activism in Second Life, The Bronx Blog Project, a video and web project that examines the intersections of technology, immigration, and community by documenting immigrants in the Bronx as they learned how to blog. He is associate editor of Personal Democracy Forum and TechPresident, two blogs that cover how technology is changing politics. He received an MFA in Integrated Media Arts from Hunter College, City University of New York.
Amy Rubin - Deputy Director of New Media Communications, DSCC
Amy Rubin currently serves as the Deputy Director of New Media
Communications for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. She works with
targeted senate campaigns across the country to produce video shorts that push
and shape message both through online and traditional communications channels.
Before joining the DSCC, Amy was the National Director of New Media and the New
Hampshire Director of Online Communications and Organizing for the John Edwards
for President campaign. Amy received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science
and Film from Vassar College in 2005.
Justine Lam - Ron Paul for President 2008
Justine Lam is the eCampaign Director of the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential
Campaign. As the eCampaign Director, she managed the development of the
campaign website and developed the campaign's strategy in utilizing
social networking platforms and other technologies to inform potential
voters about the candidate, to facilitate the mobilization of
supporters, and to raise funds for the campaign.
