If you are traveling by train you will arrive at Union Station. A taxi to the Renaissance will cost approximately $10.

Via Metro
The Renaissance Washington DC Hotel is within 4 blocks of the Gallery Pl-Chinatown Station (Green, Yellow & Red lines). Click here to see a map of the Metro.
From Union Station, get on the Red Line (heading toward Shady Grove). Take the train two stops and look for the exit marked “7th & H Sts Exit.”
As you exit the station, you will facing east on H Street. Turn around and face west on H Street, walk 2 blocks and turn right on 9th Street. Walk two blocks and the will be on the right.
Via Car

From Maryland I-495:
Take Exit 33, the Connecticut Avenue Exit (towards Chevy Chase & Washington). Follow along Connecticut Avenue for approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Remain on Massachusetts Avenue across Scott Circle and turn right at 9th St NW. The hotel is on your left.
From Virginia I-395N:
From I-395N, merge at US-1 N and continue on to 14th Street NW for half a mile. Turn right at New York Avenue. After half a mile, turn right at 9th Street NW.
From Bethesda, MD :
Take MD-355 S/Wisconsin Avenue to Massachusetts Avenue. Take a left and continue through Sheridan, Dupont and Scott Circles. Right onto 9th Street. The hotel is on the left.
From McLean, VA :
Take George Washington Parkway towards Washington . Take the exit onto I-395 N/US-1 N toward Washington. and continue on to 14th Street NW for half a mile. Turn right at New York Avenue. After half a mile, turn right at 9th Street NW.
