Entering its 15th year the Politics Online Conference, hosted by the Institute for Politics Democracy and the Internet, has firmly established itself as the premiere conference for online political professionals in America, regularly attracting over 500 attendees from across the globe.

What does the program consist of?
The Politics Online Conference blends together a mixture of large plenary sessions and smaller, more intimate breakout panels. The aim of the conference is to stimulate conversation and our cozy conference facilities provide the perfect setting.

Who attends?
Online politicos of all descriptions: political consultants, lobbyists, congressional staffers, trade association representatives, academics and reporters. Leading lights of the online political industry mix with complete novices. There are stimulating academic discussions, high-brow technology debates and basic how-to discussions.

When is the early adopter deadline?
Midnight, September 30th, 2007.

When is the deadline for advanced ticket purchases?
5pm, Friday February 29th, 2008.

 Tickets can still be purchased on the first morning of the conference, Tuesday March 4th, 2008, by cash or credit card.

I can no longer attend, can I give my ticket to a colleague?
Substituting the names of conference attendees is permitted.

If you do wish to substitute your name for that of someone else please contact Sam Levenback at sam@ipdi.org or (202) 994-1003 .

We will only accept requests for substitutions from the original ticket purchaser.

Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?

  • Cancellations made before February 15th , 2008 will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations made after February 15th , 2008 will be subject to a 25% charge.

When and where will the conference be held?

Each morning, from 8:15am – 9:15am, breakfast will be served in the Continental Ballroom. The opening plenaries will not begin until 9:15am.
